Experts Forecast an Optimistic Year


Single family home sales were strong in 2020! When Covid began, we all held our breath and prepared for a real estate disaster. As the quarantine period began to ease, our clients kept calling! We realized we needed to adapt and implement the best practices to help our clients safely buy, sell and lease properties.

 

In the Numbers:

  • DFW Home Sales increased by 8% from 2019.
  • The Median Home Price increased 7% from $274,000 in 2019 to $292,000 in 2020.
  • DFW had 1.3 Months of Inventory available in December of 2020



In 2021 Experts Forecast an Optimistic Year:


  • Interest rates will remain at or near 3% for 2021, fueling strong buyer activity
  • Home sales are projected to increase as buyer continue to take advantage of historically low interest rates.
  • Home Prices are also expected to continue to appreciate as more buyers purchase homes over the next year.
