Market Update Collin County 2018: New Listings increased 15.3% year over year with a total of 2,354 homes listed in April in Collin County. Days on market increased 21.1% from 38 to 46. And the average sale price hovered around $367,000. While the increase of new listings and extended days on market is good news for buyers, the inventory is still at 2.8 months supply. 6 Months of inventory is generally considered a balanced market. With less than 3 months supply, it is still a seller’s market.
The summer months will likely bring increased listings, increased prices, reduced number of days on market as the summer home sale cycle heats up.
